Board of Directors

The Belltower Pictures Board of Directors is an all-volunteer group from wide-ranging backgrounds.

Angel Ampey, is Senior Program Consultant in the Office of Economic Opportunity, Virginia Department of Social Service. She earned a BS in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Masters in Education Management from Strayer University. She has extensive experience in non-profits in the Richmond area.

Paul Bickford, Vice President, is a graduate of the University of Miami’s Film School and has extensive experience in pre-production and production for films, commercials and music videos. He is Director, Emerging Technologies, Principal at Apex Systems.

Angelia Kinard Kane is a filmmaker and Producer at Church & Snyder, a Richmond, VA video production company. She became a filmmaker after more than 15 years in web development, marketing and public relations. She’s the recipient of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year.

Craig Martin, President, is a visual storyteller, filmmaker and writer with more than 30 years of experience. He produced the feature length docudrama The Insanity of God. He is co-host and producer of the Daytime Emmy nominated PBS docu-series The Good Road. Craig has written a book entitled Confessions of a Philanthropologist.

Stephen Hawley Martin is a marketing communications professional and former partner and strategic plans director of The Martin Agency. He has written or ghostwritten 16 books, including four novels, and a screenplay.

Russ Parker served as CEO & President of Parker Lancaster Corporation for 25 years. He earned an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He was board member and finance committee chairman of the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority for eight years.

Ian Patrick, Secretary, is a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch and holds an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. He is the contemporary band leader at Christ the King Lutheran Church and has experience serving on committees with several organizations in the non-profit sector.

David Powers, Emeritus, served as Associate Pastor for Communication at Richmond’s First Baptist Church from 1993 to 2013. With 40 years experience in television & film production, he has produced and directed musicals, music videos, documentaries and narratives in the U.S. and abroad.

Taylor Quinn is the CEO of Filmspire. He is a graduate of Christopher Newport College and lives in Richmond with his wife and growing family. His passions are filmmaking, marketing, storytelling, and living a life following Christ. He is a valued member of the Belltower board since 2023 and is also a member of the Midtown Masterminds, Westhampton Merchants Association, and the Metropolitan Business League. He currently serves on the Finance Committee.

Jim Somerville is the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Richmond. Jim holds a doctoral degree from Southern Seminary and is active in local, state and national pastoral organizations such as CBF, BGAV, CBFVA, and RCFN. He and his family have been in Virginia for over six generations. Jim is dedicated to all things Christ and spreads the word through both written and visual arts as he is also an author and the developer of a nationwide taped ministry program called, “A Sermon For Every Sunday.” Jim joined the Belltower Board in 2023.

Board members are not compensated.
